Finance operations are moving beyond isolated automation as AI, connected systems, and supervised execution reshape how teams manage transactions, close, cash, revenue, and reporting.

The Intelligent Finance Operations Tech Showcase brought together leading technology providers to demonstrate how finance teams can reduce manual workflows, strengthen controls, and improve visibility without giving up oversight. From anomaly detection and revenue automation to treasury, payments, reconciliation, and month-end processes, the session showed how intelligent finance operations can help teams work faster, manage exceptions more effectively, and focus human judgment where it matters most.

James Bowers-Lee from iPlicit explored how AI-powered finance automation can reduce manual workload and speed up the month-end close. The demo covered intercompany transactions, FX adjustments, prepayments, invoice capture and bank reconciliation, alongside AI capabilities that flag anomalies and surface real-time insights—giving finance teams faster access to reliable numbers and greater control over key decisions.

Apurv Bansal from Zenskar showcased a different side of AI in finance: managing increasingly complex billing for SaaS and AI businesses. He demonstrated how Zenskar connects CRM and ERP systems to automate metering, billing, collections, revenue recognition and analytics. The session also showed AI agents reading contracts, processing usage data and generating invoices and ERP-ready journal entries across subscription, usage-based, prepaid credit, token and API models.

Pac O’Shea from Round Treasury focused on bringing cash management, accounts payable and payroll into one connected workflow. He demonstrated how finance teams can gain visibility across multiple banks and entities, automate sweeps, withdrawals, invoice processing, approvals, payments and reconciliation, and use AI to query live financial data and quickly generate finance briefs.

David Tuck from Mayday tackled the challenge of achieving a faster, more controlled month-end close. His demonstration showed AI taking on time-consuming accounting processes such as deferred revenue, prepayments, accruals, flux analysis and intercompany activity. By replacing spreadsheet-heavy workflows and accelerating post adjustments, Mayday aims to help finance teams move closer to a zero-day close.
