The Operational CFO

During this workshop, GrowCFO’s COO and mentor Kevin Appleby discusses the role of the operational CFO and the skills the operational CFO will need to do a great job.

The CFO role can be broad and requires CFOs to master many different skills. We see three different sorts of CFO emerging:

  • The Strategist CFO
  • The Financier CFO
  • The Operational (or Transformer) CFO

Kevin shows you how the skills needed for each sort of CFO differ and focuses on the operational CFO’s need to understand the business’s economic engine, manage diverse teams of people, and master business change.
