An Audience With: Zarin Patel

Zarin was the longest serving Chief Financial Officer at the BBC and a NED of BBC Worldwide, the Corporation’s £1.1bn commercial arm, where she chaired its Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.
She spent the early part of her career at KPMG working on FTSE quoted conglomerates in a variety of sectors – property & construction, real estate and retail.
These days Zarin is an experienced Audit & Risk Chair, and Non Executive Director. She is an Independent Member of the Audit & Risk Committee of John Lewis Partnership plc and of HM Treasury.
She has expertise in managing transformation within complex digital-centric businesses and broad experience of investment, procurement, large capex, and general management as well as finance.
